Living a frugal lifestyle can look different for everyone, and it’s important to prioritize what works best for you. While I consider myself frugal and have always been intentional with my money, there are certain frugal practices that I don’t currently follow. Here’s a list of 10 frugal things I don’t do right now:

1. Use paper coupons: I used to be a couponing queen, but now I stick to shopping sales and using digital coupons.
2. Cloth diaper: We used to exclusively cloth diaper, but switched to disposables due to a skin reaction.
3. Make my own laundry soap: I’ve tried and failed multiple times, and I’ve heard it might not be good for washing machines.
4. Never go out to eat: We prioritize eating out when we can fit it into our budget.
5. Always re-use baggies: I only re-use freezer bags if they’ve had dry ingredients or the same contents.
6. Cut my kids’ and husband’s hair: I’ve tried and failed at cutting hair, so we go to a salon instead.
7. Shop at Aldi: While I love Aldi, Kroger delivery and digital coupons are more convenient for us.
8. Always buy used: Thrifting takes a lot of time and I often don’t find what I like, except for online thrifting.
9. Dry our laundry on a clothesline: It’s time-consuming and not ideal for my allergies.
10. Plant a garden: While it can save money, it’s a big time investment that I haven’t prioritized.

Each person’s frugal journey is unique, and it’s important to consider what works best for your budget and season of life. What are some frugal practices you don’t do? Share your thoughts!
