Are you a fan of farm-fresh food? If so, you’ll be delighted to know that there are cities in America where you can easily get your hands on locally sourced goodies. According to a study by LawnStarter, some cities stand out for their commitment to promoting local food.
LawnStarter compared the 500 biggest cities in the U.S. based on four locavore categories – access to u-pick farms, on-farm markets, local dairy farms, and involvement in local food movement chapters like Slow Food USA and Buy Fresh Buy Local. In total, 21 metrics were considered to determine the ranking of these cities.
