Have you ever imagined seeing AI-generated images of yourself on your social media feeds? Well, now you can as Meta tests out new content features.
According to a recent report from Axios, Meta is introducing a new test called “Imagined for You” where users can opt in or out. This test creates AI-generated content based on a user’s interests, even incorporating images of themselves in various scenarios like royalty or astronauts.
Meta wants users to “be the star of their own story,” as mentioned in the Axios report.
The Verge noted that the generated images seem to be based on photos uploaded by users.

In addition to personalized AI images with user faces, Meta is also testing out other AI-generated images on newsfeeds. One example shared by Meta shows an enchanted realm with moonbeams, adding a touch of magic to users’ feeds.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, discussed the company’s AI efforts at a recent event, stating that Meta AI has 500 million monthly active users and is on track to become the most widely used AI assistant by the end of the year.
