The Beauty of Imperfect Innovation

Every new software innovation, just like many inventions throughout history, starts off as something barely functional. The same is true for the first plane created by the Wright Brothers, the early version of VisiCalc, and the shaky bridges made of vines.

Successful product development is not about creating a perfect product right from the start. It’s about taking something that is almost useless, nurturing it, sharing it, and improving it until it becomes indispensable.

It’s interesting to note that this process of incremental improvement applies not only to technology but also to learning new skills, like walking or speaking a new language, and exploring new communities.
