• E25 advances engineering development, permitting, logistics, and project financing for the HPMSM facility in the USA.
• Successful completion of an Air Permit public meeting sets the stage for formal issuance of the permit.

Butcherbird Operations Expansion Plans

In January 2024, Element 25 Limited (E25) released a Feasibility Study (FS) outlining the expansion of its Butcherbird Manganese Operations in Western Australia to achieve a target manganese concentrate production of 1.1 million tonnes per annum. The FS highlights robust economic returns and the facility’s significant potential.

E25 is diligently working on detailed design, planning, procurement, and financing for the expansion, aligning its efforts with the progression of the HPMSM project in Louisiana, USA. Operations at Butcherbird are currently on hold, focusing resources and cash on the planned expansion in the FS.

Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility Strategic Assessment

NAIF completed a strategic assessment of the Butcherbird Stage 2 Expansion Project during the quarter. The project is now moving forward to the detailed due diligence phase of NAIF’s assessment process.
