Rumble Resources Limited (ASX: RTR) (“Rumble” or “the Company”) is excited to announce the discovery of significant high-grade tungsten assays from selected pulp samples of RC drilling conducted in 2021. These assays confirm a potential tungsten deposit closely linked to the known gold resources at the Western Queen Gold Project.

Key Findings:

  • Tungsten assays from seven holes drilled in 2021 validate a notable high-grade tungsten discovery at Western Queen
  • Noteworthy intersections include:
    • 12m @ 0.56% WO3 and 0.46g/t Au from 69m (WQRC032)
      • including 2m @ 2.48% WO3 and 0.12g/t Au from 70m
    • 3m @ 0.69% WO3 from 90m and 2m @ 1.55% WO3 from 159m (WQRC101)
    • 12m @ 0.34% WO3 and 3.22g/t Au from 202m (WQRC178)
      • including 7m @ 0.49% WO3 and 4.71g/t Au from 206m
    • 2m @ 0.75% WO3 and 0.48g/t Au from 81m (WQRC019)
  • The recent tungsten assays align with a continuous tungsten anomaly covering a 2km area, identified from drillhole XRF data
  • The substantial width and grade consistency of tungsten assays hint at a potentially significant tungsten resource at Western Queen
  • The Company plans to analyze historical drilling data, including RC drill pulps and diamond core samples, to establish an initial resource estimate for tungsten
  • Tungsten, being a critical metal with limited substitution options, holds strategic importance in various industries

Peter Harold, Managing Director and CEO, stated: “The discovery of tungsten at Western Queen showcases the immense potential within our tenement portfolio. The findings from the 2021 drill pulp samples confirm a substantial tungsten discovery at Western Queen. This achievement reflects the dedication of our exploration team, and we eagerly await further assay results to potentially calculate a resource without additional drilling. While the tungsten discovery is promising, our primary focus remains on leveraging the existing gold resources at Western Queen for near-term monetization.”

Western Queen Tungsten Discovery:

Laboratory assays for tungsten were received from selected pulp samples of RC drilling conducted in 2021, covering a 900m strike length of high-grade tungsten. Notable intersections from the pulp samples include 12m @ 0.56% WO3, 0.46g/t Au from 69m, and 12m @ 0.34% WO3, 3.22g/t Au from 202m. These findings complement the high-grade tungsten mineralization observed in drillhole WQDD013. The mineralization, consisting of large scheelite aggregates, is associated with the Western Queen orogenic shear zone and primarily located in Archaean mafic amphibolite lithologies.
