The U.S. Military Thwarts Houthi Attacks in the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea
The U.S. military reported on Friday that Yemen’s Houthi rebels launched a series of attacks, including two anti-ship ballistic missiles and one drone in the Gulf of Aden, as well as four drones over the Red Sea.
Fortunately, U.S. forces were able to intercept and destroy three of the drones over the Red Sea, with the fourth crashing into the sea. Additionally, the drone over the Gulf of Aden was also successfully neutralized by the U.S. military’s Central Command.
Despite the aggressive actions taken by the Houthis, no damage or injuries were reported as a result of the anti-ship ballistic missiles, showcasing the effectiveness of the U.S. military’s defense mechanisms.
It is clear that the U.S. military remains vigilant and ready to respond to any threats posed by hostile forces in the region, ensuring the safety and security of the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.
