Allup is leveraging past work to expedite the PFS completion for the project by IHC Mining Consultants (IHC).
Allup is also gearing up for a drilling program at the project site in Q4 CY24 to update the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and explore potential resource expansion.
Previous IHC Metallurgical Testwork Results
In 2018, IHC conducted metallurgical testwork on a McLaren deposit sample, revealing significant ilmenite content amenable to standard mineral sands processing methodologies.

The test work yielded products like ilmenite, rutile, and zircon, all meeting quality standards for further processing.
Flowsheet Development
The 2018 testwork led to the development of a conceptual flowsheet utilizing traditional mineral sands separation techniques, including Feed Preparation, Wet Concentration Plant (WCP), and Concentrate Upgrade Plant (CUP).
The processing flow resulted in magnetic and non-magnetic concentrates suitable for further ilmenite processing.
